Digital Dentistry
Digital Dentistry is the new and innovative tools that are redefining what it means to be a dentist.
These digital devices create a quicker, easier, and cost effective dental experience.
My name is Jonathan Coronado. My family is a very wealthy family with many family
members in the medical field. I chose to do mentor a dentist mainly due to the opportunity of
making money in this field and the opportunity to become my own boss. This field is a growing
and developing field with many opportunities to start a chain or to develop a very profitable
practice. The opportunities are limitless for this career. Also whenever you open your own
practice you become the manager of yourself and others. You become able to determine the
hours you work, able to hire and fire whoever is needed, and become able to make decisions for
yourself.
My ISM project will incorporate new and innovative tools used in the dental field to
show how dentistry work is growing and becoming more effective. I will be researching about xrays, digital impressions, and other tools that allow for more effective dental work. The main
purpose of this project is to define and teach about basic tools that could be used whenever going
to a dental office.
To complete this task there will be many hours of research and preparation. I plan to
research and create a list of items that are considered new and innovative products. I will then

meet with my mentor and ask for advice on better products to use. Whenever I have the specific
products that I need, I will research these ideas in depth and present my information in a welldeveloped PowerPoint. I will use a video of me explaining and demonstrating how to use
specific tool to better inform the audience of its function. I hope to gain a deeper understanding
of how dentist provide the best care using innovative and effective tools that allow for patients to
leave more satisfied.
