in partnership with Voxtra (Norway) is pleased to present the Agro Equity Investment Scheme
Zambia (AEISZ) under the Voxtra East Africa Agribusiness
Fund. Voxtra is a Norwegian based investment company that
invests growth capital in commercially viable but capital
constrained agribusinesses in Africa.
With the total fund pool of US$20,000,000, the single
investment fund is from US$500,000 to US$3,000,000 of
flexible and patient growth capital normally invested in the
form of equity or debt convertible to equity, structured in line
with the needs of the business for a long-term period of 5 to 7 years. Financing options include;
equity, mezzanine/convertible debt, and debt finanacing.
Voxtra is not a traditional lender, but prefers to take a minority ownership stake in the business and gets
actively involved so as to work closely with the existing owners and management to increase the value
of the business.
Also offered is grant-funded technical assistance to strengthen systems and capabilities, as well as
guidance in becoming a world-class company with
professional governance significantly improving
companys value and ability to attract additional funding.
Voxtra is looking to invest in companies with an
established track record and capable management,
significant growth potential (preferably in an underserved
and growing market), willingness to work with the
investor, and a close partnership with real influence and
possibilities to add value.
