-Identify two project sources that have opposing perspectives.

I have found two sources about LGBT youth homelessness. One talks about how America should be
ashamed of the amount of LGBT homelessness and the lack of services for them. The second source talks
about how easy getting rid of homelessness could be for heterosexual and the LGBT community.

-Identify and categorize the sources key terms and its related terms. Examples of categories for the terms
might include: legal, moral, ethical, constitutional, political, etc.

Homelessness (Moral)
Federal Government (Political)
Services (Political)

Answer the following questions.

-In what context are the terms used?
All of the terms were used in the context of speaking on and helping the homelessness.
-How has the term been historically used?
The terms have been historically used everywhere. Mostly in politics and the news.
-What power does the word hold in terms of use?
Homelessness and Federal Governments are two of the most powerful words. Services isnt really a
powerful word.

agree and disagree. How do the terms help extend the sources perspective.
The sources use the term to describe how homelessness can be handled with the federal government
providing services to them. One sources says that homelessness is easy to get rid of, but the federal
government is being stingy with the money they have to help homeless people. The other source says
that America has the right amount of resources to decrease homelessness for the LGBT by 40%.

This can assist me in taking a position by giving me the information I need to know why the government
isnt helping to decrease homelessness.
