Instructions to Install Online Examination System Client6 (Winter 15)

Note: Before using this Update, please check that Online Examination
System Server and Client Application is not running and is closed.
1) Please download/copy OES_Client_Update6 (Winter 15)rar file to
your Online Examination System Client computers.
2) Extract (Unrar) the content of the file " OES_Client_Update6 (Winter
15)rar " to your local computer inside some folder.
3) After extracting the content of .rar file you will get following contents:
(a)OES CLIENT.txt File.
(b)FilesCheck Folder.
(c) ClientMDB Folder.
4) Now copy the file OES CLIENT.txt and the folders FilesCheck,
ClientMDB inside your Online Examination System Client Application
Folder (e.g. "C:\Program Files\ Online Examination System") on all the
client machines.
5) Rename the existing OES CLIENT.exe in your Client Application to OES
ClientOld.exe and rename OES CLIENT.txt to OES CLIENT.exe.
6) Check for the file Client.mdb in every Client machine path.
C:\Programs\ Backup_QOES \client.mdb. If file is not found in the given
path then Copy the new file Client.mdb from ClientMDB folder to
C:\Programs\ Backup_QOES \client.mdb.
7) This way you have successfully updated the Online Examination System
Client Application.
8) Once update is done, you can now continue to use Online Examination
System Client Application. (Please remember you will need to update
Online Examination System Server Application as well before conducting
the exam.)
9) Notice that on Online Examination system Client Application Screen in the
title bar you will see Online Examination System Application version
details i.e. Ver.2.0.0.3 which is an indication that updates is installed
successfully.
