1. For someone working in your field, please describe the fantasies versus realities of the job.
(fantasy vs. reality)
we dont work in summer, come at 8 leave at 2:30 dont work at home, every weekend.
Dont have to do anything with discipline, one job.

2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training are required?
(Educational level and requirements) Masters degree in Agricultural.

3. Please describe the typical day to day activities of someone working in your field.
(day-to-day activities) preparing class materials, making copies, attendance, managing classroom, actually
teaching, meetings, practices for show team, things for our animals at the barn (lambs and goats)

4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?
(job security) Pretty secure, as long as I do what my job requirements are then Ill continue on as a teacher.

(Growth potential) A lot, every year teaching adds on to experience, salary increases

7. Whats one thing you would change about your job?
How many different classes I teach up to a day. I would rather have something such as block classes, (teach just
floral one day)

8. Do you see yourself being in the same field for a while?


Yes, I enjoy being an FFA advisor and teaching the younger public about agricultural.

9. Why did you choose to be in the field that you are currently in?
Because my school didnt have an agricultural department and I wanted to be a part of the experience of the one
that CSHS has.

10. Whats a advantage of being in the field that you are in?

Getting to do different things and working with younger people and getting to do different things.
