Dear Lieutenant Colonel Johnson:
My name is Nancy Jaax and I desire to apply for a position in Biosafety Level 4, inside the Ebola
project. I feel as though I am fully qualified for this position due to my numerous
accomplishments and fulfillments. I hope that you will review my records and make the best
decision that takes into consideration all aspects.
I am fully qualified for this job due to my genuine desire to work in this field. I am a registered
and accomplished veterinary medical doctor. As a result, I will know how to properly and
mindfully work with different test subjects. I am passionately engaged in participating in such a
career and can assure you that I will be responsible and hardworking. As a mother I have taken
full responsibility of others, my children, and have seen the results of poor responsibility. I
understand that it is rumored that I am "too quick" and not "steady" and, although these are true,
I have taken action and have taken martial arts classes to hone my steadiness. My body does not
react well with the vaccines given in Biosafety Levels 2 and 3; consequently my condition does
not inhibit my participation with Level 4 agents. Some people have feared that due to my
position as a mother I am unsuitable for the job; I have solved this issue by hiring a nanny who
can take care of my children. All things considered, I hope you can find me a candidate for
working with Level 4 agents.
Several rumors have been spread of my inadequacy and I can confirm that some are true.
However, I have solved these issues and plan to move forward. I sincerely thank you for taking
the time to listen to my dilemma. You can contact me through phone at (204) 583-2744.
Sincerely yours,

Nancy Jaax
