Applications must follow original guidelines and procedures.

However, there
is a new program that must be implemented into all admissions processes.
Percent plans will be used to help all students strive for success and be eligible to
attend college by limiting factors that are uncontrollable and may hinder a
students chances of attending school.
Guidelines of the percent plan:
All students who graduate at the top of their class are eligible
These students must be guaranteed admission into schools
Depending on where they stand academically, programs will be initiated to
get the student at the academic level they need to be
The student will be placed in a certain school depending on space and
availability
Additionally, all applicants must undergo comprehensive review to get a well
rounded view of what a students success and capabilities are.
Students must be reviewed for their academics as well as other factors
including the following:
Disabilities
Family History
Social Environment
Educational Environment
Personal Situations
Veteran Status
Need to Work
Family Income
First Generation Attending College
Financial Aid
Depending on a students economic status and their parents income they may be
eligible for financial aid. This will allow students to cover the costs of attending
college. Those who are accepted and admitted must follow the procedures for
financial aid and fill out the FAFSA form in order to be eligible for rewards.
