students what it is like to be an incoming freshman student. Amoah explains certain tips on how
to make the transition easier. She gives multiple examples such as, making sure that students
register for classes early, and making sure to be prepared with books (Marquita 33). She also
gives a little insight on what it takes to be successful academically. According to the author
