PEER EVALUATION FOR CANER VELİ

…He really tried to elicit the useful language and was good at
that.

…He used some cartoons, it was a good idea to use them for fun
and to motivate the class.

…He was nervous as I saw. However, he never reflected it to his


teaching and speaking. I mean, he didn’t let his nervousness
make him make mistakes. I think it is a very important point,
because all of us are nervous in our presentations, but the vital
thing is to cope with our nervousness while giving presentation.

…He used some materials like plates, glasses, forks and menu.
This made the situation more real. I liked it.

…the activity was good, role cards gave many opportunities to


use the faunctional language.

…and I realized something, I really wonder if you did or not. When


Elmas told her bad memory, I think he didn’t pay enough
attention. When Elmas finished to speak, he didn’t give any
feedback and immediately he started to tell his own bad
experiences. I thought that he focused on what he would tell
while listening to Elmas. It would be better if he had given some
feedback like showing his feelings, his surprising or something
else.

…We didn’t have any sheet incfunctional language that we were


supposed to use either in envelops of role cards or on the board.
I know HE PREPARED BEFOREHAND BUT FORGOT TO GIVE OUT ( I
understand him very well, once I forgot to use my slide show!)
