Definition-

A.K.A: Dictatorship

A system of government in which supreme power is


concentrated in the hands of one person
Decisions are subject to neither external legal restraints
nor regularized mechanisms of popular control.

Positive attributionsWhen decisions need to be made quickly without
consulting with a large group of people.
Allowing members of the group to focus on performing
specific tasks without having to make complex decisions.

Positive attributionsThe Government takes care of the people. Gives them a
sense of security rather than oppression.
It allows the government to give the people benefits
such as health care and free education.

Negative attributionsAutocratic leaders tend to assert dominance and
demand control, sometimes as far as complete control over
others,this would be called totalitarianism.
Totalitarian dictators give people fewer rights, as every
aspect is of their lives is decided by their ruler.

Negative attributionsPeople may dislike that they are unable to contribute
ideas.
Results in a lack of creative solutions to problems,
which can ultimately hurt the performance of the group.
