Outline of Design

SCA, Inc. provides services to the aging population of the North Shore in SE Wisconsin.
We are open to both individual and group counseling, and have many initiatives that would
benefit those we serve. In addition to prioritizing our aging clients, we also provide therapy to
their families. Most families are unaware of the burden surrounded my an aging loved one, and
when the time comes to make decisions, most feel lost, angry, depressed, and even guilty when
they are faced with the fact that they can no longer have their loved one living independently or
with them.
Not only does SCA provide services at our clinic in Mequon, but we also provide services
to family members in their homes, or in the homes of their loved ones. We specialize in
Alzheimers and Dementia clients as well as their families. Because of the broad spectrum of
these diseases and how they affect those around them, we only take on cases with aging as the
prevailing symptom. Residents can be faced with either Alzheimers or Dementia, but we also
see those that are depressed, feeling helpless or hopeless with regard to aging, or are failing to
thrive because they feel they are no longer an asset to society.
