Families with children who want to live in a safe area.

Land Use:

Housing.
Hotels, and B&Bs.
Local shops, bars and restaurants, and commercial services.
Private healthcare services (dentist, doctor, physiotherapist)
Large hypermarkets / Out-of-town shopping centers.
Science and business parks.
New large office buildings.
Parks and forest.

Conflicts:

Vineyards being sold of to build houses, tradition abandoned.

Becoming more congested as more people move in.
Local community feel gone, as rich expats move in.
Local shops going out of business as hypermarkets are built with cheaper products.
New buildings do not fit in with the old buildings.
Public transport suffers as busses are delayed and get stuck in traffic due to amount of
cars on the same road.
Bus lanes take up road space where cars should be able to drive on.
Old roads cannot handle amount of cars, leading to traffic jams.
New roads being built leads massive diversions, local businesses losing trade and
deforestation.
More houses being built near airport, causing more noise pollution.
