This week we are learning:

Circle Time Review

This week we will review rooms
and activities in the house.
Students will be asked to answer
questions such as:
Where do you sleep?
Where do you watch TV?
Where do you cook?
Where do you eat?
Where do you take a bath?

Dates: 23/11/15 27/11/15

Vocabulary: fish, lobster, octopus, seahorse, shark, whale, dolphin, crab, sea
turtle, jellyfish, clam, starfish, ocean
Sentence structure:
Question: What is this?
Response: It is a/an_________.
Songs:
Slippery Fish, Shark Song, The Blue Whale Song, Lets Go to the Beach
Activities: Role play, Vocabulary drill, virtual tour on marine life, sand art

Students will also review on

occupations through charade
game.

Phonics

Games:
Whisper game: The teacher will show pictures of sea animals then students take
turns to whisper the name of sea animal in their group. The last person in line
will stand and say the name correctly.
Bang Bang game: Students are given water gun which they will use to beat other
players after naming the sea animal.

Letters Review
This week we will learn how to
blend three letters focusing on
at family sound.
Students will try to identify
pictures that will be presented.
Letter games will be played
after being able to read words
with at sound.
Students will be asked to
rearrange letters to form words
according to pictures that will
be shown.
Students will also role play
scenes in a short story.

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
New vocabularies will include mat, cat, sat, pat, rat, hat, bat, and fat.

Craft
Sand Art: Students will color
seahorse using colored sand.
Homework:
Writing practice and matching
exercise on sea animals.
