Student Criteria
Meet with counselor twice during
school year.
Retain a minimum GPA of a 2.0
on a 4.0 scale or 3.0 on 5.0.
Participate in at least one
extracurricular activity during
each school year.

service annually, outside of

Is Important . . .
In the current global economy,
having at least a high school diploma
is a critical step for avoiding poverty,
and college degree is a prerequisite
for a well-paying job. The costs of
dropping out of high school today are
substantial and have risen over time.

criteria, graduated, and enrolled in a
secondary educational program (trade
school, community college, or a four year
university), you will receive a minimum
$1,000 grant administered though the
Great Plains Life Foundation to help
support your continuing education.

not graduating.
