Dear Dr.

Duong Nguyen,

My Name is Jaime Vieira and I am a fourth year kinesiology student at the University
of Guelph Humber. Your information was passed along to me by Lisa Pivetta as she
had mentioned you had reached out to her in the past for a Sports Medicine Clinical
Assistant. If there is any availability I would like to be considered for this position,
and here is why. I have always had a passion for sports but recently I have found
that I have a passion and skill for medicine. In the future I would like to do a
masters in either physiotherapy or athletic therapy, and my goals in life are to have
an impact on sports through the rehabilitation process. I have a past with an
orthopedic surgeon as I had a spinal fusion surgery 4 years ago, and it was a long
road to get back to being the athlete I once was. However, because of my surgeon,
physiotherapist, chiropractor, and trainer I am now a varsity captain at Humber
College. I want to have that impact on someones life and get them to reach their
athletic goals. I am a quick learner and I do very well under pressure, as seen from
past experiences with physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics internships. I also have
a great deal of experience coaching, which shows my passion for sports and my
leadership qualities. I am a very strong student in mathematics, getting over a 90%
in pre-calculus and over and 80% in biophysics, stats and biomechanics. I would like
to gain more hands on knowledge in both the sport industry and the medicine
industry, and I feel like I can bring a great deal of skill and dedication to your team.

If you have any questions about my resume or would like to talk further please dont
hesitate to ask.

All the best,

Jaime Vieira
