Clinical Experience at Crestwood Middle School
Observed and taught in an eighth grade classroom for 10 weeks, six weeks being in classroom
two days a week (tuesday and thursday), and four weeks working three days a week (tuesday
wednesday, and thursday).Created and taught many lessons on various aspects of early American
history in 80 minute block periods.Worked one on one with individual and groups of students,
and gave whole class instruction. Was allowed full control of the classroom in both instruction
and classroom management. Generated and Graded assignments and assessments, both formative
and summative.
Tutor, Cardinal High School and Middle School Middlefield Ohio ( Spring 2014)
Assisted students in both schools with a wide range of work in math and reading
Observed classrooms in the middle school and aided students with class work
Participated in both one-on-one and group work with children in both classroom and study hall
environments
Spanish teacher for International Baccalaureate program at Indian Trail Elementary
School, Stow Ohio for two years in High school (Spring 2011&2012)
Created lesson plans for third and fourth graders on basic spanish,included vocabulary, activities
and assessments
Taught students spanish once a week for forty five minutes each lesson for eight weeks each year

Gained general professional experience working for the Cuyahoga Falls Water
Department over the summer.
Assisted Hiram College Education Department with their World Fair for local
sixth graders. (2013, 2014)
