Capitalization Guide

CAPITALIZATION RULES:
1.

Always capitalize first letter of first word in a sentence.


Ex. We will watch a movie. The movie "Avatar" is showing.

2.

Pronoun I is always capitalized.


Ex, My friend and I will play in the park.

3.

Names of specific persons, places, things or animals including their titles.

Note: Only capitalize a title when it precedes the name. Do not capitalize
if acting as a description or used instead of proper name.
