NEW DELHI: Amid strong indications that the government and Congress are willing

to resolve the logjam holding up passage of the goods and services tax (GST) bill,
finance minister Arun Jaitley said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ready to speak
to everyone to forge a consensus on the landmark reforms measure.
Asked about Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's statement that the PM had not
spoken to Sonia Gandhi on the GST bill, Jaitley told Times Now, "Let me clarify we
have absolutely no hesitation even at the level of the prime minister. We never had
it in the past. We don't have it. He is willing to speak to everyone."
