General information
Composition
Pentane 60/40 is manufactured to the highest standards. It does not contain detectable
quantities if polycyclic aromatics, heavy metals or chlorinated compounds.

Application
Pentane 60/40 is used as a blowing agent in the manufacture and processing of expandable
polystyrene.

Hazard information
Pentane 60/40 is highly flammable. Its vapour can readily form an explosive mixture in air.
