Conference

Where:

Dordt College

Who: All Area Sophomore Students


Why: To provide students with exposure to the
various

career opportunities in the area

To Begin to generate relationships between


students and employers
To teach/reinforce important job skills and
qualities.

Non-Credit Opportunities
When:

Ongoing as opportunities arise

Where: Where ever works best


Who: Any student(s) who might benefit from the
opportunity

Why: To provide students with unique learning


opportunities and to provide businesses with
the valuable resource of young minds.

Futures at Work Class


When:

Beginning in January 2016


(Tentatively 11:00 12:30 time frame)

Where: Schools & Businesses


Who: Junior and Senior Students
Why: To provide students with authentic projects
that expose them to how businesses work, teach
and strengthen important job skills and attitudes,
and finally to add value to
businesses and
student learning experiences. Students will earn
credit.
