I must say, I thought that I knew a fot about sy topic having the backwround | have, but I ave truly only scratched the surface. There is 80 myfch to know and learn about aviation, its history, theory, and present day breakthroughs. Qur fesi is very general which allows us to search through hundreds of different avenues. The \/ beauty of the topic being so broad is just that, there are multiple paths to go down. The diffieult part, choosing which path to go down and what our audience wants to hear. One path that we are leaning more towards in our project is how much airplanes have changed in terms of efficiency and safety. We are planing to talk a little bit about the past and future oF aircraft but we plan on focusing on the present day aircraft, as opposed to just general information about ther Through out my rescarch one of the main things that shocked me was that there is more work being done to reduce cost. For instance through my research I found that Bocing. has created a piece of metal light enough ta sit on top of a dandelion and not make it ieee its form.
