In 1882 a girl that he made ill with a fever that was on the verge of
dying. She survived but her sequels stayed, it could neither see nor hear.
Due to the fact that it could not hear it could not speak either. Helen
Keller was born On June 27, 1880 in Alabama, daughter of a publisher of
press. Before his disease she was a girl with many vitality and good
health, and with a sociable personality. It could walk and even he was
saying a few words. The fever separated him of the world, leaving him
without being able to see the light and without being able to hear the
sounds.
when it was moving, holding itself on his clothes. It was touching and
smelling all the things that were about her and was feeling the hands of
other persons "to "see" what they were doing and was copying his
movements. It was capable of doing some works for yes same of rapid
form, as milking the cows or giving form with his hands to the mass.
Helen was learning and recognizing the persons feeling his faces and his
clothes. Also it could say in what place of the garden he was smelling the
different plants and treading with his feet on the grass.
When it had seven years of age he invented 60 different signs that were
serving him to communicate with his family. If she wanted bread it was
cutting discreet a chunk and was smearing with butter. If he was wishing
an ice cream it was covering with rags on his arms and was breaking it
to pieces.
An example to continuing
Is important to remember that without Hellen Keller's help it could not
have done what she did alone. Hellen rested very much on Anne
Sullivan, who accompanied him on any site for almost fifty years.
Without his faith in his teacher Hellen probably she would have remained
isolated and lost in a confused world. Also, there is no doubt that Hellen
was the the only, extremely intelligent, sensitive and decided. The first
person has been deaf blocks up that it has demonstrated to the persons
what has been capable of doing with his life. But she is not the only
person with auditory and visual disability that is had successful.
