Journal entry
Tuesday I planned on going to my mentor, but when I arrived he was
nowhere to be found. Not to long after one of his assistants informed me he
was preforming an emergency surgery and will not be back in the office until
Thursday. This took about an hour of my time. I then returned to my house
and proceeded to work on my midterm project. This took an additional hour
plus. Wednesday I went to the library to finish up my project and fix any
spelling errors. I spent about 45 minutes on finishing my project. Thursday I
went to my mentors office to find out a few of the patients canceled their
appointments. To fill up my two hours with my mentor, we looked over my
project and fixed any incorrect information and brushed up on my sentence
structure. After we completed this, Dr. Santos and I went over some of the
MRIs from his previous patients throughout the day. On Friday while at my
house I completed both my research article and journal entry. This week was
very uneventful for me because of scheduling and Dr. Santoss emergency.
Next week should be back to normal seeing patients in the office.
