2. Readthestoryaloudtotheclass.
3. Stopperiodicallythroughoutthestoryandhavethestudentsmake
connectionstothestory(texttotext,texttoself,texttoworld)Record
onboard.
4. Afterthestory,dividethestudentsintocooperativegroups.Giveeach
groupababyjarfullofmoney.
5. Haveeachgroupestimatetheamountofmoneyintheirjar.
