The Rare: Innovation Index is a research partnership between the Digital Innovation Centre at Manchester Metropolitan
University and Rare:. The objective of the research is to understand the current practices and barriers to creating a
culture of innovation amongst UK businesses. We interviewed 340 people (aged 21-60) working full time in the
UK as part of the Rare: Innovation Index in July 2015, via email.
