NEW RECYCLING BINS ARE HERE!!!

BEGINNING THE FIRST OF DECEMBER, CMC WILL HAVE NEW AND IMPROVED RECYCLING BINS!
THESE NEW BINS WILL MAKE THE RECYCLING PROCESS EASIER FOR ALL. THEY WILL BE COLORCODED BASED ON THE MATERIALS THAT CAN GO IN THEM SUCH AS
RED BINS FOR GLASS PRODUCTS ONLY
GREEN BINS FOR PAPER PRODUCTS ONLY
YELLOW BINS FOR PLASTIC PRODUCTS ONLY
BLUE BINS FOR SINGLE STREAM ONLY (MINIMUM USAGE!)
BLACK TRASH CANS WILL BE PRESENT NEXT TO ALL RECYCLING BINS THROUGHOUT BRECK
AND DILLON CAMPUSES FOR LANDFILL PRODUCTS ONLY

Paper Products
Paper goods are one of the most recycled items here at CMC. Paper goods
that do not have a plastic coating over them are welcome in our GREEN
bins.

An easy way to recycle paper? At the end of the semester, go

through notebooks and folders and get rid of any old, unneeded
assignments and notes!

Glass Products
Glass goods are the BEST items to recycle! Glass can be recycled over and
over again unlike many other materials. Yet, for glass recycling to be
productive, it MUST be recycled in the RED glass bins. If glass products go in
the single stream bins, it will contaminate the entire bin and everything will
have to go to the landfill.
