| ‘To whom it may concern, Itis indeed a pleasure to write this letter to sing the praises of Adrian Salgado. I've known Adrian for 3.5 years as a student in two of my classes, Integrated Coordinated Science and Anatomy and Physiology. In that time I've found him to be an outstanding and extremely focused student, as well as being one of the most honest and forthright people I know. Adrian’s success can be attributed to his strong work ethic and tenacity. He has been on the Principal's Honor Roll his entire high school career. He was also ‘an NAI GPA Recognition Award recipient. in addition to his academic success, Adrian is very involved in his community; he helped coordinate and participated in his 9" grade class’ community works project, where they helped to feed the homeless. Adrian is an active member of HOSA, (Health Occupations Students Association) and served as an intern at two medical facilities, St. John of God Retirement Center and Clinica Medical San Miguel. Adrian has served in a voluntary capacity in almost all of the charity events initiated on campus, including the AIDS walk, the Foshay Blood Drive, and the Pasadena i Heart Walk. Adrian has even found time to excel in extracurricular activities. He is an excellent soccer player as well as distance runner, having competed in the Foshay SK three years running. The above listed qualities are enough evidence to show how much of a hard worker and how motivated he is. Clearly, Adrian has displayed the kind of drive and energy needed to be an effective student if not Citizen, He will make an excellent addition to you organization. | applaud you for considering him and | thank you for this opportunity to praise him. i Craig D.
