Bandung
Bandung is capital of West Java. Is a great place to visit because Bandung since a
long time ago has many attraction whonmake Bandung worth to visited. Today
Bandung become one of Indonesia most prestigeoud university, here is
wellknown ITB is university who has produced many of Indonesias top scientist.
Bandung also the center of Indonesia burgeoning ICT technology. For every
weekend, many young people from Jakarta visited Bandung to enjoy, because
Bandung has became the favourite weekend gateway to relax and escape from
city of metropolitan as we know Jakarta.
Because of Bandung grew into town for worthly planters who have a miles and
mile of tea, coffee, etc. Bandung thus became the town of European elite, and
then Bandung has a rich haritage of building in examplary art deco architecture.
Like Villa Isola, now housing in University for Education, the present Asian-African
Museum, the main Braga shopping center where the Dutch colonial elite went to
shopping.
Bandung became known as Paris Van Java or Paris of Java. Where Dutch planters
and ladies paraded and falunted their wealth and beauty along the Dago
Boulevard as we know Jl. Ir. H. Juanda, then the Champs Elysees of the East. Now,
Bandung is remembered in history internationally as the venue of the First AsianAfrican Conference held in 1955 wich brought together for the first time. Later
bandung also became the center textile producing of Indonesias Textiles for
fashion wear, etc. Bandung now the third largest city after Jakarta and Surabaya.
Because of bandung surrounded by green fertile mountains and has a many
great places, Bandung become a favourite destination to enjoy and relaxing any
time of the year.
