decrease your chances of survival?
I think that it would increase the chances of survival if the group have a
leader that make good choices a maintain the order, but if they have a
leader that only take bad decisions and treat they mates as slaves would
decrease de chances of survival.

2. How might the group choose a leader?

they must be based on good judgment of the leader when
he made a decision and have the approbation of the
majority of the group

3. What rules would help everyone survive?

never be alone
not stray too far from the group
establish an order to collect food
organize security patrols
establish a social order

4. How would you deal with conflict between those who

want to uphold the rules and those who think the rules
should be changed or eliminated?
I would say that if you do not want do not adhere to the
rules but both maintain a social order so that no chaos arises
