ABSTRACT

The main objective of the project is to lift the vehicle by using a screw
jack without the help of human power. Here the lead screw of the screw jack is
coupled with a bi-directional D.C. motor, which has a low rpm (rotation per
minute). The power from the motor is transmitted to the screw jack by using a
shaft.
Since the motor is bi-direction, it will be helpful at both lifting and
bringing down the vehicle safely to the ground. The project will be helpful to
workers in garages, because they have to spend a lot of energy for lifting vehicles
using a screw jack.
It is not only useful at garages, but also at anywhere, were the vehicle
has stuck and where there is a need of vehicle has to lift. The motorised screw jack
is very simple and easy to use.
By using this screw jack we can save time and can save the human
power also. Since at the parts are available in the market, the cost of production is
low when it is produced in huge numbers.
