HLAC 1096 Lifelong Wellness Application Paper


Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this activity class?
I learned a lot aboout setting goals and how to maintain those goals. We also
learned a lot about the body which I wasnt expecting but loved. I love learning why
we eat certain foods and how hormones and emotions take a role in how healthy
we are. We also learned about different exercises and the names of how and how
to carry them out properly.

2. How would you apply this information to your life?


I will use this information in my life, when I am eating certain foods or when I am
thinking of different exercises to try. The information we learned will be stuff I can
use for the rest of my life and not just for this semester.

3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?


I intented to exercise at least 4 times a week. I love to exercise and to push my
body.

4. General ideas for improving this course?


The questions on the quizzes did not always make sense or seem relivent to the
chapter. Maybe question the class on the key points of the chapters and not
random facts they mentioned.
