Gujarat Public Service commission NOTIFICATION No.CCE-9798-2400-EX Dt. 1" September, 2010 The result of the combined competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts in Gujarat Civil Services Class I and Class Il held in June, 2002 and Interview Test held between 3-5-2004, 26-7-2004 and 30-8-2004 ( Advt. No.82/2000-01) w declared vide Notification No, CCE-9798-2400-EX dated 1-9-2004 and Corrigendum of even No. dated 27-10-2004. The list of unsuccessful candidates was also declared on 1-9-2004. 2. On the basis of the above result/ recommendation of the Gujarat Public Service Commission, appointments on the posts mentioned in the said Advertisement were given. However, ultimately, 27 posts of Class I and Class I remained vacant on account of various reasons. Some of the unsuccessful candidates had filed Writ Petitions i.e. M.C.A.No.1768/2008 in S.C.A.No.7912/2005 praying. for appointments on the said 27 posts. Hon. Having regard to the rank in the order of merit and the number of posts available, the preference given by the candidate shall be considered by the Govt. at the time of his/her appointment. 3.
