Canada is known all over the world for being a beautiful place filled with
forests, mountains, rivers and lakes, and land for farms. These are also our
most important natural resources, the parts of nature that we use and sell to
make money off of. Nature has always been a key part of how Canadians
make a living. Our ancestors came as immigrants to this country hoping to
join the workforce of the forestry, mining, fishing, or the farming industry.
