AAM AADMI

The drama reflects the common problems that a common

man faces when he visits govt. office for some officially
work. The drama starts with the Bail Gadi that stops in
the middle of a road. The owner Musaddi Lal Yadav goes
for its repair leaving his wife with it. In the meantime a
traffic police constable (Shukla) puts a No Parking board
in front of the bail gadi. He takes it with him to the police
station and sells it for Rs 35000/-. The police staffs are
enjoying party with that money; Musaddi comes to police
station enquiring about it. He asks for his Bail Gadi to
Shukla. Shukla sends him to Inspector Patel, who is the
most corrupt among them. He asks Musaddi to pay
Rs500/- as fine but settles with bribe of Rs250/-. Patel
then sends him to Inspector Bhatia who eats more than
doing work. His work precedes and succeeds a plate of
Samosas. He asks Musaddi to pay Rs14000/- bribe but
Musaddi refuses. Bhatia asks him to come with proper
papers next time. In between the play character like
Shaktimaan is brought by Havaldaar Tinde, who
misuses English words, and is asked to pay bribe for
flying in the air. Musaddi brings his friends from
Afghanistan to scare them. He does make them scared.
They ask him to come tomorrow and collect his Bail Gadi.
After this the policemen decide not to return him his Bail
Gadi in any case. They take oath for it. Next morning
when Musaddi comes to collect his Bail Gadi, he is again
sent to Patel who again sends him to Bhatia and the cycle
continues. Finally Musaddi Lal gets fed up and he did

give up. Grabbing the opportunity the police staffs ask

him to hang to death and he agrees with silence. And
finally after so much of torture and pain, Musaddi Lal
dies.
