Dear Sir Dan,
I am writing this letter to explain why I was absent from the Student
Development Seminar.
I was invited by Sir Doc to do an acoustic song number in a Quiz Bee he
organized together with Vigintillion Society that following Monday. Instead of
going to the said seminar, I was asked to practice with the acoustic band but
at the last minute I was told to do just a solo piece.
Also, Sunday is the only day that I get to pamper myself. I work 16 hours a
day, Monday through Saturday from 8am to 12midnight. In between those
hours, I also go to school. I treat Sunday as a very important day for myself,
family and friends.
But rest assure that at my age, Ive already come to realize what I lacked
during my teenage years - and that is the value of education. At 35, I now
know my goals in life, where Im heading to and what my plans for in the
future.
As always, thank for your support, being understanding and being so
accepting. I really appreciate it.
