Preference has given to install central ducted air conditioning systems due to many reasons.
Improvised experience & access to the relative information has proved/agreed at highest medical
standards that ducting system is prone to health diseases, which should be addressed
at war footing basis.
The return air (recycled air) from different rooms coming to main air handling unit for re-cooling is
the main source of spreading the germs from one room to the other. Highly revealed by detailed study
& research that:
1. Dust coming with the return air is accumulated in the duct.
2. Air-handling units with conventional filter are not capable to block 100% dust.
3. The duct & the air handling units are the main source / bank for the different diseases (seed beds
for pathogens).
4. Air handling units are not equipped with air purification system to kills germs & bacteria floating in
the air.
5. Patients require high antibiotic doze instead the normal one.
6. The insects, rats and dangerous entities build nests in the duct.
Remedy:
Step1:
Install air purifier equipped with electrostatic cleaner, active carbon & oxygen deficiency
indicator which helps to minimize such risk.
Step2:
The organization in the process of replacement its main electric AC/chiller should change the
entire system with independent chilled water distribution to fan coil units of each room, equipped with
air purification systems.
Step3:
The organization in the process to install new air conditioning should avoid ducting system &
consider chilled water distribution to each independent special fan coil unit with air purifiers.

The air purifier spared after providing special fan coil units can be transferred to small
units / collection centers.

The Air-Purifier:

1. The coarse filter eliminates heavy dust particles.

2. The electrostatic charged filter with 6000volts (static electricity) attracts smallest
infectious bodies like bacteria, viruses, molds, fungi & all the pathogens up to
0.0001mm and kill them instantaneously.
3. Maintains moderate ozone (O) kills all as above.
4. The active carbon filter, removes the dangerous gasses, metals (lead & cadmium),
formaldehydes & other carcinogenic from the air.
