COACHING EXPERIENCE
Lady Billies Basketball Camp, Williamsport, PA
2008-current
Coached girls from grades 3-10 through games and activities. The campers worked on
defense, and offense, such as lay-up drills, defensive slides, shooting techniques, and mind
over matter of the overall game
Created fun activities for younger children such as; knockout, 200, relay dribbling games,
war, dribble dance, etc.

Coached girls grades 3-6 through games and practice
Taught basic skills and drills through fun activities, such as; lay-ups, the correct way to
shoot, defensive slides, passing, and dribbling
Taught sportsmanship, team work and being coachable.

Coached games, teach the girls that the sport is about the love of the game, not winning or
losing. Picked out a new starting 5 each game and sub them in, 5 in 5 out. Picked a new
position each game for the girls so they get a feel of what position they prefer.
Used different strategies to coach and teach the girls such as, play-teach-play and used
different formations during the game making it more challenging and to have the girls think
during the game.
Team work, theres no I in team. Explain that the importance of teamwork in basketball is
vital.

2012-2014
Coached girls and boys grades 6-12, teach all aspects of the game such as; plays, defense in
the post and defense on guards, double teaming, using zone and man to man defense,
shooting, dribbling, post-moves and passing.
Travelled to different areas to play in tournaments throughout the summer. Get girls and
boys names out there to recruits who are interested in playing college basketball.

In charge of giving the other managers positions and training the new managers
Take notes and keep statistics for the coaches during practice and games
Travel with the team on away trips being in charge of everything the team needs for
practices, games and during the stay at the hotels. Had to provide and gather; food, practice
gear, jerseys and a scheduled agenda, relay messages from the coaches to the players,
make sure players are ready at the appropriate times for shoot around and games
Tape floors for practice and shoot arounds
For practice had to set up an hour before practice and stay approximately around an hour
after practice to tear down
For games had to be at the stadium 2 hours prior to the game to set up and 2 hours after
the game to clean up
I was able to see how a division 1 program was ran behind the scenes
