REFLECTION:

The proposal was a crucial part to this whole project. Its purpose was to
narrow down all the ideas from the, Discovery/Brainstorming activity to just
one topic that interest you the most. I chose materialism vs. spiritualism
because it had a lot of correlation with the book, Into the Wild. From there, I
wrote down 10 questions relating to the topic of what I wanted to answer or
find more information about. The two inquiry questions are what the whole
project is based on. I gave a few examples of where I would be able to find
useful information that would increase my credibility. The comments from my
peers were very beneficial to writing and getting started with my essay.
Also, by writing down what I would do to narrow or broaden the topic made it
easier when I actually did choose a new topic to make is more broad.
