Dear Staff,
As part of my graduate studies I will be co-leading the Guiding Gators Intervention
Program (GGIP) under the supervision of Linda Wheeler. I am pleased to inform you
that we will offer another year of our Guiding Gators tutorials. This is open to all
teachers who would like to help students grow and earn some extra money.
Teachers will be paid $20.00 per hour for their services.
Our Guiding Gators intervention will help those students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade in
the areas of reading, math and writing. Teachers can choose to work in the morning
from 6:55-7:55am and/or 3:55-4:55pm. If you are interested you can work both am
or pm or simply one of the shifts. We are also in need of teachers who would like to
be on a substitute list please. All materials and lessons will be provided by our
reading and math coaches. Snacks will be provided for our afternoon students only.
Please let me know as soon as possible. Simply stop by nay room (206) and I will
have a form outside my door so that you can indicate your name, the grade level
you are interested in teaching (If you have a preference), and finally the subject(s)
you would like to teach. Looking forward in collaborating with all of the talented
teachers at MCE in order to help our Gators reach their fullest potential.
