I like the way you started the topic.

Pictures you showed us was sufficient enough to elicit the


topic. Your role-play was a good one. It’s very communicative and a good way to practise
grammar ( future tense—be going to )..

However, The situation was not so clear in the role-cards. We shouldn’t use just one
grammar point ‘be going to’ during the role-play. So if you gave us much functional
language we could use it in the role-play.

I suppose I may use this role-play in my class because it’s a good one if we want to make
students practise the grammar point (be gonig to) and as the situation in the rolecards are the
ones we encounter in our daily lives. It will be a useful activity and I think the students will
like it especially when they change their roles from parents to child or vice versa during the
activity.
