The webpage is divided into

subtitles that represent different
locations of muscle groups. It can
be used as a study guide for
students to quiz themselves. The
answers for the labeled muscles
can be viewed or hidden with one
click, making this a user friendly
way to study. Although this
website is not run by Dr. Black (run
by James Strauss), if you have any
anatomy questions, they should be
directed towards Dr. Black or
Megan.

This library database finder allows

students to search for
research/literature related to
anatomy for potential
papers/projects. It also allows
students to see how a basic
understanding of anatomy is
required for research/literature
and progression within the field.
In general, the UMD library page is
helpful in finding reliable
research/literature which is a key
skill that students will need to
acquire as an animal science
major.

Program, (301) 4051373, libbyd@umd.edu

The animal science department

can be very confusing and
frustrating at times. I found that
being familiar with the advising
policy allows students more
independence and can answer
almost any question related to
advising/course policies.
