REPIZO UNDER DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 902 DATED NOVEMBER 11, 2015 AND DESIGNATION OF ENGINEER DINO C. VIZCONDE AS OFFICER-IN-CHARGE OF THE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIVISION NOVEMBER 23, 2015 ‘To further enhance border control and security of the ports in the country, the authority granted to Associate Commissioner Gilbert U. Repizo under paragraph I of Department Order No. 902 dated November 11, 2015 is hereby reinstated until further notice. In carrying out his mandate as Commissioner-in-Charge of enhancing or improving the border control operations of all ports in the country, Associate Commissioner Repizo shall exercise the following: (a) exclusive and direct supervision and control over all personnel directly or indirectly connected with border contro! operations of all the ports in the country, including, among others, the regular employees, confidential agents, contractual employees, and job order employees of the Intelligence Division, the Counter Intelligence Unit, the Border Management Security Unit and Travel Control Enforcement Unit; and (b) exclusive authority to issue exclusion orders. With respect to item (a) above, any re-assignment or rotation of personnel of the Border Control Cluster, or any disciplinary action amounting to suspension or worse taken against said personnel, may be effected only with the prior written approval of the Secretary of Justice. With respect to item (b) above, recall orders may only be issued by the Board of Commissioners. Associate Commissioner Repizo is hereby directed to submit a monthly, report of all exclusion orders and recall orders issued under this authority. «ogyTo further safeguard the integrity and ensure the efficiency of the Bureau's Services, Engineer Dino C. Vizconde, Immigration Officer I and Assistant Chief of the Management Information Systems Division (MISD), is hereby designated as Officer-in- Charge (OIC) of the MISD, in replacement of Engineer Jollybert Galeon. As OIC of the MISD, Engineer Vizconde shall exercise the following: (@) custody and control over the Bureau's information technology (IT) resources and equipment, especially the databases and systems located at or within the Bureau's main office and airport terminals; and (b) exclusive and direct supervision and control over all personnel directly or indirectly connected with the use and maintenance of the Bureau's IT resources and equipment. In the performance of the above functions, Engineer Vizconde may assign or re- assign personnel, as needed and required by the service, subject to the prior written approval of the Secretary of Justice.
