PRACTICAL TRAINING
The practical training is aimed at exposing the students to current practices of structural engineering
and to develop confidence in handling structural engineering projects. The student will be deputed to a
structural consultants office for 4-6 weeks, where he/she will be involved in various activities like:
interaction with client / architects, office management, calculations pertaining to structural analysis and
design of structures, preparation and presentation of structural drawings, execution of project at site,
documentation etc.
The student will submit a full report of the tasks completed during training.
