PART 1: Preparing the Activity and Planning for Implementation

Lab Assignment week 13: This week you will be in charge of the classroom for the entire time you are in the classroom. Plan all activities,
transitions, learning centers, etc. If other lab students are present, be sure to include any approved lesson plans they are implementing. Use
corresponding Activity Plan Form. Hand plan in as hard copy, not in Canvas. Hand in Oct. 28

Behavioral Objectives (Minimum of 3; for 3 separate activities)


1. They will interact during read- aloud and book conversation.
2. During the activity, the children will be able to increase their knowledge with of letters.
3. During the rings activity they will be able to identify the different colors.
Learning Centers (7 minimum)
Time:

1. Large Motor Activities

Ring Toss Rings tossed around water bottles

2. Language and Literacy

Alphabet Relay They will have letters in a bucket and have to run it to the other
bucket

3. Sensory Materials
4. Creative Arts
5. Science
6. Math

Colored sand with shells They will have different color sand and dig for shells.
Paper and glue They will glue things on the paper for the outside
Sparkle Bottles They will be different colors and different things inside
Matching pine cones - To the numbers drawn on the sidewalk

7. Creative Dramatics
Golf The box will be made to have to balls go into the holes.
Outside Time
9:40 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

I want to allow the children to have the class time outside on the far
playground. I will be using the playground.

Large Group/Circle Time:


9:20 a.m. to about 9:30 a.m.

I will read a book and sing a song at group time. The book I will be reading is

What materials do you need to supply?
I will be supplying the rings and the water bottles.
I will be supplying the letter and the baskets.
I will be supplying the sand and the sea shells.
I will be supplying the paper and glue.
I will be supplying the sparkling bottles.
I will be supplying the chalk.
I will be supplying the pinecones
I will be supplying the camera.
What materials would you like to have the lab school supply?
I will need the students from the classroom.
I will need the teachers to be there.
Address the documentation to be completed (how, when, who, what?) and how you will assess if youre Learning Objectives have been met:
I will ask the teachers to help me take pictures of the children and my portfolio child. I will be asking questions to the children to get them involved
with the story. I hope to see the children saying the letters and different colors in the different activities. The most of all I want to see the children
outside enjoying the activities they have planned for the last and final project.
