Dear Parent/Guardian,
My name is Tyffanie Wilson and I am a senior at Grand Valley State University. I
am studying to become a Special Education teacher. I have been given the opportunity to
be a student teacher in your child's classroom this semester. I am looking forward to
working alongside your child's teacher, and will be there one day a week from January to
March and then everyday from March to June.
I am originally from the small town of Brimley, which is located in Michigan's
Eastern Upper Peninsula. While growing up there, I developed a love for the outdoors; and
enjoy just about anything involving nature. I also have a love for Special Olympics, which
took off after I joined Students for Special Olympics Advocacy my freshman year at
Grand Valley.
I am very much looking forward to workign alongside your son or daughter this
school year. I am excited to see what it is that they can teach me, as well as what I am
