To Whom it May Concern, uel
It is my pleasure to recommend Heather Weaver for the Banner ED preceptorship. | had
the pleasure of working with Heather during the spring semester of 2015 as a Teaching
Associate at The University of Arizona College of Nursing in the course entitled “Acute and
Chronic Illness Management II’. This course integrates the principles of advanced medical and
surgical nursing theory, pathophysiology, and pharmacology into high acuity nursing practice. |
supervised this student in a high acuity medical/ surgical clinical practice setting including
intermediate care and intensive care units. In addition, | observed this student actively
participating in clinical development sessions including simulation and lab settings.
Heather consistently demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with faculty,
patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team. She demonstrates strong leadership
skills, and displays solid critical thinking skills when planning care for the high acuity patient.
Heather demonstrated flexibility in the clinical setting, easily adapting to the needs of her ~
patients and the unit. | have every confidence that Heather will make a great contribution to
any nursing team. If you have any questions related to Heather's qualifications please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Kelly Clark RN
