Dear Sir,
Greetings!
In line with the upcoming harvest season for all Sugarcane Planters, it is with great pleasure
that we welcome the opportunity to submit a proposal to Hideco Sugar Milling Company with
regards to use of Agricultural Lime by sugarcane planters for crop year 2014-2015. We have
been operating in Barangay San Juan, Ormoc City and having sugarcane as one of the major
produce of Ormoc City, we find it necessary to be able to contribute to the betterment of our
citys crops and for the sugar industry itself.
We are prepared to move quickly on the transaction and believe we are well suited to do so.
This letter summarizes our proposal.
1. Definitive Agreement
The mutual goal of this business transaction is for Zafran Agricultural Lime to provide lime to
Sugarcane planters as per advise by Hideco Sugar Milling Company. In order to effectuate
this transaction, both Parties agree to complete respective tasks: Hideco Sugar Milling
Company will advise all Sugarcane Planters to avail of the said lime for land preparation
purposes. HISUMCO will properly inform all planters of the benefits of using the said
product. Zafran Agricultural Lime will provide an adequate supply of the said lime for
Sugarcane planters.
2. Purchase Price
Sugar planters would purchase the said Lime the location provided by Zafran Agricultural
Lime at a specific price per bag: Brgy. Nadongholan, Ormoc City at PHP100/bag.
3. Closing Date
The parties acknowledge that time is of importance and that they will work towards closing
the transaction as quickly as possible. Both parties shall make reasonable efforts to finalize this
transaction as quickly as possible.
4. Binding Agreement
This letter sets forth the terms and conditions that Zafran Agricultural Lime seeks to use as
material terms for the proposed agreement. This letter supersedes, in its entirety, any and all
communications that previously occurred between the parties. This letter is non-binding and
requires further consideration and a final contract agreement executed by the parties in order to
be legally enforceable.
If the foregoing is satisfactory, please indicate your agreement with the foregoing by
countersigning a copy of this letter and returning it to our attention. We look forward to
proceeding together on this transaction.
