I am applying for the position referenced in the office memo for October 20th, 2015. Due to my
past experience working with the Manley, Karraker, & Karraker, P.C. and my continuous efforts
to further my education in both business administration and in those areas necessary for
becoming successful in a legal environment, I would appreciate your consideration for this
position.
For the past seven months, I have enjoyed working within your firm and growing into my
position as a legal secretary. Now, as the lead secretary, I hope to further grow in the company
by gaining a position as the firms Office Manager. I will assist in further strengthening the firm
by using the skills that I have acquired here at Manley, Karraker, & Karraker, P.C. as well as the
skills that I acquired at previous positions as a foundation for the skills and lessons that this
position has to offer as I grow within the company. These relevant skills have been noted in my
resume.
My personal experience, professional experience within the company, and growing knowledge
of the firms client base would be both relevant and helpful to the Office Manager position that
you are looking to fill. For the past three years I have have gained experience working in both
office and public speaking situations. I have gained communication and organizational skills
during these past years which I will combine with my knowledge of with legal files and clients in
order to strengthen my further efforts at Manley, Karraker, & Karraker, P.C.
