MO Corp. Energy Competition

After careful review of MO Corps energy usage reports, corporate has decided that we will be
joining the initiative to do our part and conserve energy! To help jump start this initiative, MO
Corp. will be holding our first every Floor by Floor Conserve competition.
This competition will be held between the different floors of this company between November 2
and December 31. The floor that is able to cut their energy consumption down the most while
going about their everyday tasks will be declared the winners of the Floor by Floor Conserve
competition. The winning floor will be announced at the companys New Years Eve part,
recognized during the next CEO board meeting and bulletin, and will receive an office lunch
party on the first workday of the new year.
Some simple solutions to reducing energy consumption include:

Making use of your office Gmail account. This account enables you to save work product
and share it to a co-worker for editing instead of using the energy and resources that it
takes to print these drafts before submitting the final product to your supervisor. You can
do this by:
1. Logging into your Gmail account;
2. Selecting the icon that looks like a grid of squares;
3. Choosing the Drive option;
4. Clicking the New option and selecting your document type;
5. Preparing the document;
6. Selecting the blue Share option at the top of the document;
7. Selecting/entering the email address of the employee you wish to share this
information with; and
8. Selecting the Done option.

Turning off lights that are not currently in use in rooms such as the break rooms,
bathrooms, or conference rooms.

Install energy efficient lighting options which have been purchased by your floors
purchasing manager.
