Dear Mr. Welch:
I have been a member of Bally Fitness, now LA Fitness for over 21 years, and although Ive been
content with the service and quality, a recent experience I had has caused me much distress and
that is why I am writing you.
I was at your club at 1628 N. El Centro on July 8th, showering after my workout. When I got to
my locker I noticed that my locker was open and it was empty. My wallet, phone, car keys,
wallet, lock, even my dirty gym clothes were gone.
I was aware when I first joined the gym that there is a no liability statement, and you use the
lockers at your own risk. This I completely understand and thats not what Im upset about. The
problem I faced was the attitude your staff had when I explained the situation and pleaded for
assistance.
I spoke with the manager, Pricilla H, and although she answered my questions honestly she
didnt seem compassionate or the least bit interested in helping me. I spoke with her for about 45
minutes dripping wet in my towel, and no one seemed to care. I ended up leaving your facility as
is, in a wet towel with no phone, no car, and no money.
My suggestion to you would be for a better security system. Perhaps more security cameras
outside the locker rooms, and even in the parking lot so you can monitor any suspicious activity.
If there were cameras I would have at least been able to find out who it was that drove my car
out of the parking lot. Regarding the staff I think maybe you could consider having some type of
training so they know what to do and how to act in these types of situations, in the off chance
something like this happens again.

I would really appreciate it if you read this letter with the possibility of making changes to your
facility and its services. Thank you for your time.
Signed,

Alexis Diaz
